Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what data the Alardon website collects when you subscribe to news and how we use it.
What we collect: your email address, an optional name or nickname, the site language, your chosen interests, favorite game role and platform, the date and the page where you subscribed, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address used only to fight abuse. We do not sell data and do not show ads.
Why: to send you news about the game that you asked for, and to understand roughly who is interested in the game so we can plan the playtests.
Where: data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) and is accessible only to the Alardon team.
Your rights: you can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any email, and ask us to see, correct or delete your data by writing to hello@alardon.com.
The site itself uses no tracking cookies. An administrator cookie is used only for the team’s login to the content panel.
Support payments: if you support the project we store your name for the credits, your email, the amount and the payment status. Card data is processed only by Monobank and never reaches us.
Visit statistics: we count visits anonymously — the page, country and city (from your connection), device and browser type, the referring site and the time spent. No cookies are used and your IP address is not stored; the visitor identifier is a one-way hash that changes every day. We respect the Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals of your browser.
Polls: when you vote in a poll on the home page we set a small functional cookie with a random anonymous id so that one browser votes once, and keep a one-way hash of your IP address to fight vote stuffing. This is not linked to your name or email and is not used for tracking.
Accounts: when you create an account we keep your e-mail address, the site language, the country of your connection at sign-up, the date and your confirmation that you are 13 or older and accept this policy. Accounts are stored with our sign-in provider Supabase (servers in Zurich, Switzerland); sign-in codes are sent by e-mail through our mail provider Resend. A necessary cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days and is removed when you sign out. To delete your account, write to hello@alardon.com.
